Well I haven't gotten any quotes but we expect our guests to pay from $900-1500 for a week of stay . . . that includes a flight estimate

I think our price is low because we are traveling to jamaica in the off season July and the resort is new so they are offering better prices. . .

Honestly, I wouldn't care if my guests complained about the price. They don't HAVE to come. I refuse to compromise on a location that we want based on someone else's expectations. To be frank, my fi and I won't be terribly disappointed if everyone doesn't show up . . . that's just part of having a destination wedding. actually, it's the whole point for us, we don't want a large guest list. .

hope you get the prices you want. ..

I decided to opt out of the 5 star resort because I wanted a good number of my friends to attend my wedding in Negril. So i found an all-inclusive 3 star resort that was $135 per night per person that has an amazing wedding views. This way their 3 night is under $500 and their plane ticket will range between $300-500 making their total roughly $800-$1200, depending on how many nights they stay.

I took into consideration money is tight for a number of people so a cheaper hotel would be okay because they shouldnt be in their rooms the whole time anyways. Activities at many places are offered out side the hotel as well. And my guest are very happy to have a cheaper hotel so they can make the trip.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
