Hello Everyone!

 

I am excited to start reading all of the great posts this forum has to offer. I feel very stressed out because we decided to get married Jan 15 2011 and there is so much to do!

 

If anyone can offer up some advice on travel agents or how you got all of your guests a good rate, that is my first concern. We are planning our wedding from Chicago (most of our guests live here) and will be going to Excellence Punta Cana.

 

I am also looking for some good places to get bridesmaid dresses for all sizes of women...I have six girls who are short, tall, skinny, plus-sized and everything in between =) I am not so happy with selection at David's Bridal ...

 

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!!

Congrats and welcome to the forum! There are tons of places to get great BM dresses. When I was searching I found great dresses at Dessy Group, Bari Jay, After Six and others. My ladies picked a Priscilla of Boston dress in the end. Happy planning and good luck! Oh btw try using the search engine you'll come up with lots of finds for BM dresses.

Welcome and congrats on the upcoming wedding! TAs can be very helpful for the coordination of travel and for getting good prices. They should be able to help you choose a resort that matches your budget and your needs.

 

As for bridesmaid dresses, in addition to planning my wedding, I'm a BM in two weddings this year. I'll be wearing dresses from Alfred Angelo and J. Crew, both of which have decent selections. I also like the wide variety of Dessy BM dresses.

As for the bridesmaid drerssess....my girls are also tall, short, skinny, plus size....and we went with the Dessy dresses everyone one loved them and they were able to get something that they liked and fit great! Good luck!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
