What I had planned on doing, is actually wearing a white swimming suit as my undergarments. I thought it would make for cute photos if I eventually took off the dress and had a white suit on... but, I'm weird!

My dress was lined, and you couldn't see through it. It totally depends on the type of dress.

My dress just was falling down (strapless) and clingy (sheath style)!

We did this:

And then this...so here's how you look after your dress (and YOU!) get soaked:

I don't have many great close-ups of my dress at the end (it was getting dark and very cold very fast!) but here's kinda an outline. I think my dress did fine. The biggest thing that I see about it is that my dress kept falling down after we got out of the water, and was making my back fat look worse! lol This is not one of my favorite pics of the night...

Did you have your dress cleaned yet? How did it clean up if you did?

I didn't have it cleaned, because it didn't get dirty at all. As soon as DH & I got back to the hotel, we soaked both his suit and my dress in the tub and rinsed them well the next morning. I didn't figure I'd be able to resell it (it's hemmed to me barefoot and I'm only 5'1") so I haven't had it cleaned...but there's really no need as it doesn't even look worn.

I had 2 dresses.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
