All Costa Rica Brides to be...

Recommended Posts

When we were there in October we went white water rafting, zip lining, and on a river tour. All were a ton of fun. The company we used was Explore Costa Rica and I can't recommend them enough. GREAT personal service! When we go down in June this is the company I will recommend for all of my guest. Denise the owner is so wonderful. The best part was we had one on one tours where ever we went, not sharing a bus with 6 other people we didn't know. She's also a great source of information and more than willing to share. I found them on trip advisor, but they do have an Internet site.

I'm getting married at a private villa in Manuel Antonio on March 11th and I need to rent some chairs and champagne flutes ASAP! Everyone I ask keeps refering me to a planner, but that is not in our budget so I was hoping someone could tell me a company they used or know of. Please help!

I have two links that you might find helpful, both the websites are in Spanish but they do have the contact information.  The companies are both based in the San Jose area but they probably can help you out.  One was sent to me by the hotel I might have my wedding at the other I found through some web searches using my very basic Spanish.  I hope this helps you out!  BTW I love Manuel Antonio, its so beautiful!

No problem!  Good luck with planning the rest of your wedding!  I'm still deciding where in Costa Rica to have mine.  Too many nice locations.  BTW what villa are you having your wedding at?

Casa de las Brisas, its with Escape Villas (www.escapevillas.com). It looks amazing and we cannot wait to get there (only nine months and one week to go :) )

Eventos Boadicea has been very helpful and they have amazing stuff.

We have already found someone to make our cake as well ... not sure if you are interested in her info. She has some amazing cakes as well.

So exciting!!! I cannot wait to be a Costa Rica bride!

When are you getting married?

Congratulations! Where are you getting married?

I can't help you with a DJ, but I can give you contact information for a cake, rentals and flowers, as well as an officiant if you haven't yet found one.

For our cake we are going with Mariposa Pastry, Chelsea has been great so far and the prices are great. Here is her e-mail, [email protected], and here is the link to her Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mariposa-Pastry/130279440355534.

For rentals and flowers we are dealing with Eventos Boadicea. They have been wonderful to deal with, very quick response times and more than willing to help out.  Here is their website, http://www.eventosboadicea.com/contacto.html, and link to their Facebook page where you can see some of their gorgeous set ups, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Eventos-Boadicea/128504043112.

Our officiant is Marcelo Galli, and he can be reached via his website, www.marcelogalli.net.

For photography, we are using Lifetime Digital Imaging. Here is the contact e-mail, [email protected], and link to his website, http://www.weddings.co.cr/locations/manuelantonio .

Hope this helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
