Has anyone tried "Latisse" to grow your lashes?

Hi,

I've tried Latisse as well as Lash MD. Lash MD worked better for me, however, it is more expensive. Although I really liked those 2 products, they didn't give me the "wow" long and luscious lashes I've always wanted. I've always had short, straight lashed that are tough to curl, just like any other Asian.

I went to Elan Beauty in Vancouver to have lash extensions and have had them for over a year. I used the Lash MD on my eyebrows since I didn't want to waste it, and that worked well.

I love my lash extensions. They look so realistc, not like fake lashes. I don't wear mascara, so no more "racoon eyes" and the best part is that I look good when I get up in the morning.  The lady who did my lashes (Tammy) was great. I asked he to make the base of my lashes thicker so that when I went on vacation, I didn't have to wear eyeliner. I just swam out of the pool looking gorgeous!

Anyways, what I'm saying is that Latisse works, but it will never give you lashes that strangers will stop and ask you about them. People often stop me to ask if my lashes are real. They say that they look so real, but they can't believe anyone's natural lashes could look so luscious and long!

If every you're in Vancouver, check out Elan Beauty Clinic. From past experience, they do the best extensions. Plus, they use a medically approved non-toxic glue that keeps your lashes in place for over a month.100_4502.JPG

I'm on my third night of Latisse and am excited to see my results.  I have several friends who have used it and love their results.  They even had to back off using it to only once or twice a week because their lashes were getting too bushy!  I've worn MAC's flirty false extensions before on special occasions, and loved them, but getting them on is always a hassle and it seemed like I always had one come loose by the end of the night.  Latisse is running a BOGO special right now too!

So, with all of the wedding & travel expenses, Latisse was moved to the very bottom of my budget.  (I've had to abandon my Zoom whitening wish for Crest 3-D strips.)  BUT, I found a product on HSN that I really LOVE.

It's a mascara+fiber+mascara kit called Scandalous Lashes by Ready-to-Wear.  The results are phenomenal!  What I really like about this product is that you can control the amount of volume and length you want by how much you actually apply.  I wear it at work (hospital administrator) and I've adjusted my application for an evening look.

A few friends at work recommended it.  I am the type to read product reviews, so after doing this and watching the video demonstration, I ordered it.  It was less than $40 and lasts for months.  I a fan of HSN anyway and the Scandalous Lashes keeps me coming back.

BTW: I didn't have it on in my profile pic, LOL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
