What's the age range/demographics on the crowd (besides adult)? If there are older people, they might be fans of the classics (even though I'm pretty young, I've always loved old movies).

Ideas: Casablanca, Singin' in the Rain, My Fair Lady...

Or my favorite not quite as old movies: Back to the Future, Usual Suspects, Ten Things I Hate About You

I love all the 80s movies suggestions! On that theme, I have to add my favorite move of all time: Dirty Dancing.

yeah i was gonna ask age range of adults too. also what is the movie fundraiser raising money for? maybe find something semi related to the cause.

i vote for a comedy or action film. people love to laugh...and they love seeing action films on a big screen.

I really like "The Rock" With Nick Cage and Shawn Connery.
The "Major League Movies" are always popular with older men.
"Taking Care of Business" Is a classic
"Apocalyse Now" Might not be approprate ,but it is one of the best movies of all time

You could always do the new Terminator or Startrek...Alot of older adults remember the orginals.

Or just call it a day and to Star Wars!
