Great idea! Ive seen these and they are absolutely gorg. I am sad b.c I jumped the gun and bought the folding style fans. I think I will just have to do the programs separately...

NBulldog, thanks so much for the idea. I'm also doing the raffia fans but didn't want to do ceremony programs but thought i would just because I wanted a place to write something to my late grandmother. I will be borrowing this idea. Thanks

I'm still undecided, mostly everyone in our group know each other and I keep thinking do I need the extra work in making them and carrying them with me. In saying that I love the fan idea and have seen some lovely pictures on Pinterest that incorporate the program into that, I still have a good while to decide yet.

I made programs (with help from future SIL and nieces!) at home in Word and printed it on a little heavier paper. I bought a really cute stamp from Michaels that says "Happily Ever After" and we stamped the bottom in blue (colour of the wedding) and I think they look really nice and simple. Cost was next to nothing and I think it's a nice thing, I know when I sit at weddings before they start, I'm pretty bored and I like to have something to look over and read.

Do you have a photo you can post? I'm in need of inspiration for my programs. I bought cheap invites from Michaels and was going to use for program but it doesn't allow for much text. Now I'm nervous and want to try somehting else but don't know what.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
