I know what everyone means! The next 5 weeks are going to go by so fast!

Between gym, hot yoga, laser hair removal for my legs, brazilian, upper lip and under arms, then making sure that I can get my hair done before we leave, I am feeling a little stressed with all the appointments!

At first I thought time was going by too slow and now It is almost starting to go by too fast!

Is anyone doing mystic tan before they go. I usually do before I go on vacation, but it always seems to wash off in a couple days which wont last until our wedding! Any suggestions?

I've never done mystic but a friend of mine did before a vacay and when she went in the ocean she turned orange- I guess the salt water and tanning spray reacted (her tech even warned her about it).  That being said it was +3yrs ago, and maybe it was just the brand of spary she used i dunno but I thought I throw it out there just incase.

My FI finally asked the last groomsman as well! We aren't having a wedding party until out formal AHR in July though.

Everything is falling into place nicely for everyone :)

 

My FI and I have been UV-tanning, mostly because we are scared of being badly sunburned since we will be in Los Cabos a week before the wedding. It is looking nice though!

 

But my mom tried the mystic and it didn't look even at all. Plus she said that she had little stains on her light-color clothing, which will be a disaster on a wedding dress.Just FYI.

It feels odd that my "to do" list in getting smaller and smaller.  I did my last vistaprint order today (besides ordering announcements with our address on them) and it was an odd feeling.  I called my mom to double check and said "are you sure there's nothing else to order?"  My fiance was excited to hear that there wasn't really anything left ot order.  We get a package now every other day and the wedding stuff has over run our dining room!  We have our engagment pictures and my bridal shower next weekend, and my bridal portraits & bridesmaid luncheon in a few weeks.  Now I just have to get my OOT completed and I'm done....it is crazy to think that in 2 more months I won't be doing anymore wedding planning!

 

My weekend to do list:

Try on tank tops so my mom can pick up and put the iron on decals for myself & the bridal party

Wrap & get my hostess gifts ready for bridal shower

Work on welcome book for OOT bag

Start writing some Thank you notes

Get my "wedding planning binder" in order & start typing notes for WC 

Convince my fiance he needs to plan the music and get the CD's & Ipod ready cheesy.gif

Hey I can add my 2 cents about tanning! I get mystic tan and also versaspa tans pretty often. They look really natural, non streaking and never rub off on clothes.

HOWEVER, the chlorine and salt water makes them fade and come off in a really gross patchy way! I find it gets really patchy around groin area, armpits, neck... not good! I would only recommend spray tan if you plan on staying out of the water until your wedding day!

I HATE tanning beds because skin cancer freaks me out, but I think I'm going to tan for the month before hand...

Just doing the good old bed tanning. I'm worried about skin cancer too but I do not wanna chance being ornage on my wedding day.. and I dont wanna get sunburned the day before.

 

 

I may have missed the post if there was one, but what is the rules about tipping the WC??? What are you girls going to do? My mom just brouht this up to me and I did not evern think about it... hmmm..

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
