You are doing great!!  Believe me, you will come to a lull period, where there's not too much to do.  That's where I am now.  Well, there's stuff to do but it needs to wait til later.

What do you mean by "fake" cake?  I am debating on what to do about our cake scenario.  It's so expensive for a large group.

TLGnhci:

I´m getting a fake cake. that is... a cake which is only there for the picture but it´s fake.  I´m getting different desserts, and some petit fours (small cakes) as I have a really sweet tooth. Here´s a sample of what my WC suggested. It can also be smaller and with my theme colours, of course.blanco y flores de primavera copia_1.jpg

Hi Fellow Brides to be,

I'm getting married May 10, 2011 @ Iberostar Laguna Azul in Varadero, Cuba! 6 months yesterday. I have 31 booked and about 15-20 who are booking last minute. This is very difficult as I want to do my OOT bags....do I buy the 31 and get the rest last minute or do I include the 15-20  and take the chance! So frustrating ! UGH! My OOT bags will consist of one over the shoulder sack per couple /one per single with Bubba Kegs, hangover Kits and possibly pashmina scarfs (to have and to hold ...to wear when your cold). Anyone have really unique ideas they would like to share huh.gifsmile105.gif

I wonder the same thing.  It looks like a lot of people seem to buy the most and sell on here or someplace else later.  Its better to have more than not enough and then have to run around crazy getting things that match.

Hi Vanessa! I will add you to our bride list, congrats on your upcoming wedding!

As for OOT bags I actually just went ahead and bought all my stuff, I have an estimate of how many we will have so I bought for that estimate and if I have anything left over I will just sell it on here to another bride that can use it.  I was originally going to wait but I just couldn't do it anymore.  You can always get the amount for like 50 items on everything and then re-sell whatever doesn't get used.

That´s absolutely right. I guess if there are left overs of the hang over kit , you can always keep it at home and I´m almost sure it will be used some time in the future...friday.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
