If you are looking for sandals DSW just got all of theirs in and they have a great selection with good prices.

My travel brochure arrived too. Thank you for suggesting VistaPrint. They are great. So professional :) I am very happy with them. Luggage tags are next!

thanks for the tip, i didn't realize that DSW accepts Canadian credit cards! it looks like i'll have to ship it to a postal receiving service across the border to pick it up....unless i'm doing it wrong....

Your stuff looks great!

I'm on a mission for the weekend I have so much stuff I need to check off my list.  Last weekend we got my mom's dress whew so glad I don't have to worry about that anymore.  I need to nail down the details of our legal ceremony here before we leave, we're just going to the courthouse and not having anyone there because as far as they are concerned Mexico is the legal one.

we are too............we get married May 5th

I know that we go to our County courthouse it costs 75 bucks for the application, we then have 60 days from our certificate to get the license officiated.......we are going to go to our local magistrates office 3 days before we leave, that costs 40bucks....

thats the best way so far that i have found that really doesnt make it feel like we are "getting married" ya know?

And no one knows either....

We are gonna go next week and apply for our license.........that way I have that "checked off"

Agreed! I forgot this existed until another bride reminded me about it. I am getting married on May 3rd in Jamaica.

Planning for me is going well, I feel like there is a bunch of little things left to do that will consume my time. We have totally finished our OOT bags which makes me feel good...I think it took a whole weekend to put them together. We are now in the process of planning our stag n doe and finishing up odd and ends.

How is everyone else's planning coming?

I have a funny problem,

My brochures that I ordered from VistaPrint are so professionally done that my guests think it came from the travel agency!

In a way, it is good because it means that I did a good job. The bad part is that I get no credit for it :(

Ha!! That is what happened with our passport invites.  Everyone thought we had them professionally done! I also have ordered brochures from Vistaprint and I bet we will be in the same boat as you as they will think our TA did them!!

anyway, i just wanted to share a teaser pic from my BD shoot from 2 weeks ago.  my photos were taken by erin from renaissance studios photography (swank boudoir).  i HIGHLY recommend them - they made me feel so comfortable (ive never done professional photos before) and i had such an amazing time doing it: i'll prob do more shoots in the future!  i hope my fi loves my pics! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
