I just ordered my travel brochures from Vista Print. My first purchase from them. Sounds like everyone loves them, so I am hopeful :)

Veronica, you look so lovely & happy in your dress!!!! and those cakes are all so gorgeous. we're not doing cake for our AHR (after a 10 course chinese banquet there's not room) but if we were, those would be most desired!

lol, now I can't wait to go for my fitting(s)...makes me want to move up my appointment   cheesy.gif

Kitty, my FI is also dragging his feet about attire....and groomsmen attire.....i've been trying hard not to keep asking/"reminding" him. he says i worry too much but how can i not when he just doesn't pick up the speed on these things but wants to look good. yes, it's not something that can be left til the last minute.....confused.gif

going to order this week. yup. not giving an option anymore. lol.

I just wanted to share that I put in large vista print order in today- pre-travel brochures, welcome letter, photoshare card, stickers for favors and mugs and a hat for the FOB.  It's so nice to finally be able to some of these details out of the way- I'll post pics when they all arrive.  cheesy.gif

hi guys,

i'm getting married in tulum on may 13th, and i am gathering everything for decorations and favors.  are any of you guys shipping things in advance, or planning on carrying them as extra luggage on your flight?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are wedding day twins! Friday the 13th :) We think it is a cool date!

We are taking most of the stuff, but are also asking some trusted friends who live close by bring some for us. So hopefully no extra luggage costs for anyone.

We're taking all of our decor items on the place with us.  Things will be split between me, Fi, my mom, FMIL, FBIL, and one of my BM's.  My FBIL is traveling alone and since he's a guy and I've spent a few weeks at the beach with him he literally only wears one thing all week, I told him he will be taking a second checked bag full of wedding stuff, lol.

Cherazi - the brochures do look professional, they come on a glossy finish paper very much like what you would find in businesses

I'm also taking all the decor and sharing with my bridal party to not pay extra.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
