We're sending ours out next month (wedding is June9, 2011) only because we're being cheap and not sending out Save-the-Dates.

The STD´s are out but other BTB´s in this forum suggested I send my invites  around the end of Sept! I´ll have to wait until they are ready but now I´m double thinking....as with the rest of my things...

STD"s I sent mine out in May because I wanted them out 1 year before, and I will be sending my invites out right after Christmas with their official RSVP card and reminder of when the final payment is due.

Nan - so I've been emailing with Juliet about the flowers and some other things and so happy!! She quoted me $42 for the same centerpiece my resort wanted to charge me $245 for!

I sent my STD's out in June... I wanted to have them out a year in advance but they ended up taking me longer than I thought. June still worked fine because our group rate was held until Sept 8th so people had a lot of time to put down deposits.

I think I'll send invites out in Jan with RSVPs.

When are you ladies asking people to RSVP by? Does 2 months in advance seem a little early??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
