We're not sending out our Save the Dates until late August or even September since we're doing a site visit for our vacation the end of August...I figure that most people already know our date since we're only having close friends & family so I wasn't worried about waiting

Hahah.  I totally understand and won't post my dress for fear of lurking eyes as well.  Congrats on finding it!!  That's so exciting.

Okay ladies...

I have been on the site for awhile, but I just wasn't observant enough to find this thread!

We are getting married on May 7th, 2011 at the Gran Bahia Principe, Runaway Bay (I think that it is bizarre that all three of us getting married at that resort in May are within the first week! )

But I found my dress in January - it just arrived last month - love, love, love it!!

Our BM dresses:  (half the girls will have fuchsia with a tangerine ruffle and the other half will be the reverse)

I loved the fact that both my dress and the BM dresses have the corset back to compliment eachother!

I didnt do STD's for Jamaica but we did do them for our AHR on June 18th.  I have the Jamaica invites on their way too and i am going to send out the flyer from our TA with the Jamaica invites with the STD for the AHR too.  Tacky?  But we aren't inviting all of the people to Jamaica that we are inviting to the AHR.

I worked on writing our ceremony this week and compiling a song list for both the DW & AHR.  One question that I have yet to get an answer on is if you go by a shorter name than your birth name...how do you do that with the ceremony...it would be sooooo weird to have my FI call me Melissa!  blush2.gif

Missy - I love your dress!!! It's gorgeous, and you look amazing in it! :) (your dress is actually similar in style to my top dress! I haven't bought mine yet, going shopping one more time to make sure it's the one, lol) I also love how the ruffles in the BM dresses mirror your dress. Congrats!

So happy I found this forum.  We are getting married at IRHS on May 16, 2010.  I feel so behind schedule after having read 29 pages from this forum lol.  I was originally going to get married at Beaches, Negril but did not enjoy all of the restrictions especially since it's our wedding day not just a vacation.  So my old STD's will now be trashed.

Most of my guest already know because I created a website and sent them all the link.  Rebecca Allurements completed my Monogram (which I love!) and is now completing my BM cards.  New STD's will be next.

I purchased my dress already but a part of me feels like I selected it because everyone that was with me absolutely loved it.  Then I saw Melly's dress and have completely fallen in love with it.  OMG what do I do now?

This site is the best thing ever!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
