Hi Claire-

I'm getting married May 15 @ Royal PDC...I sent in my deposit a couple months ago as well and actually keep getting updated contracts as we make changes along the way. I finally told her that I wanted to hold off on signing any more since we were planning on making some more changes and she said no worries! (I told her that I would sign it after we got back from our site visit in August). I would say that if you are in contact with your WC and they arent' sending you things you could ask but that you definitely don't need one because the deposit is all you need to reserve your date/time/location(s).

We won't be able to do a site visit either. I'm relying on this forum (of course), plus the review of friends of parents, as well as an old boss of mine. My travel agent also loved the resort. The only problems I really found in reviews were in regards to the front desk, and really, interaction with the front desk isn't why I go on vacation so I'm not concerned. *phew*.

Some of you may have read this on another thread but i wana tell the world...... :-)

 

I HAVE THE BESTESTEST NEWS..... WHOO WHOO.....

 

As some of you know my mum and dad have been debating for weeks and weeks if they can afford to come to our wedding... i know they really wanted to come but were unsure!!! My mum woke up this morn with a gutt feeling... went to the travel agent tonight after work and booked... YIPEE, they finally booked, My dad can give me away after all.... Im so so so happy.... My mum and dad will be at our wedding!!!!!!!!! My mum said she just woke up today and thought i cant miss my daughters wedding, and that was it!!! ARGH!!!!!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
