omg sxcT  I did the exact same thing... but I threw about 8 pairs of shoes in a suitcase and it took up almost half!!!  What am I going to do!  As of now we have:

Carry-on roller w/ important wedding stuff / breakables

Checked bag 1 - OOT Bags & contents

Checked bag 2 - Programs and other wedding items

Checked bag 3 - will be clothes / shoes / etc

Checked bag 4 (duffle) - will be more clothes, toiletries, etc

I really don't want to check more than that... eek!

Hehe thanks!!  I was having some fun.  They are so big...almost too big.  But I think it'll be nice because I can pack everything in boxes to protect them and then put them in there since there is so much space.

I know its crazy that we are just days away....hours actually LOL.  I'm feeling good about most things.  I have my final fitting and picking up my dress today!!  What an exciting feeling.

We do have some drama with one of the groomsman.  We don't know if he is coming, he won't respond to David or the travel agent, he hasn't paid his final payment, etc.  What a d!ck$hit.  I am so pissed at him for doing this so close to our departure.  Thankfully the other groomsman has this guys' pants that we bought for all the guys and is bringing them with him.  We will get them altered down there and have the "runner up" groooman step in.  Sounds so bad I know.  But we have to do what we have to do.  So first is was bridesmaid drama and now its groomsman drama.  Geez when does it stop LOL.

The packing is going quite well.  I think everything fits into those duffle bags and all the precious glass stuff fits into one carry-on which is so nice.

Still have to get some last min things but nothing critical which is a relief.  Picking up a pocket-sized video camera tomorrow (he bought the turquoise one for me aww!)  My wknd should be pretty easy going (I hope)....massage, nails, tanning and one last BM meeting to give the girls the tank tops and the flip flops I made for them to wear on the plane.

So how about you?  What is left for you to do?

Ohh I hope the final fitting goes well!  So exicting!!!! That's crazy about the groomsmen though.  What an ass!  Thankfully you have a back-up GM (we kind of have one too LOL) so you'll be fine!  I know what you mean though - it's always something.  We lost a few people earlier this week (ben's family friends) but their room is non-refundable so I mentioned it to my mom and now my step-brother and step-sister are coming!  Great news - but I did have to redo the seating arrangement and seating cards last night.  Oh well :-)

OMG what a good idea to have a small videocamera!!!  Hmm... I actually work at a video production company and they have some... I wonder if they'll notice it's missing? Hahha

Enjoy your massage and last days of pampering!!!  Only small things are left on my list too... get my e-ring cleaned, go tanning, get mani/pedi, go shopping for some books/magazines/snacks... and legal ceremony is Saturday!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
