Good thing I am already a full member, or the moderators would think I am doing this just to up my post count!  I just think it is great to know who your date twins/triplets/etc are.

We're getting married on 11/12/11 and having our ceremony & reception at the Jellyfish Restaurant and staying at the Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana.

Where are you ladies with your planning? I currently live in Alabama with my fiance (hes active military.. we wanted to do 11/11/11 since its Veterans Day but it was already booked) and we're originally from Massachusetts..so all our guests are from MA and I'm doing mainly all our wedding planning in MA (got my dress in December :).  We just sent out our save the dates yesterday.. when are you guys planning on sending out your invites?

I am to the point in my planning where I am just waiting to find out how many guests we will have.  I have located a lot of the stuff online that I will buy and am just saving the links in a word doc until I know how much to order.  During this "down time" I am focusing a bit on the At Home Party - we booked a DJ a few weeks back and tomorrow I go and taste cupcakes!

 

I plan on sending out my invitations in late April/beginning of May - that will be 6 months ahead of my Nov 5th wedding.  My group rate ends mid-August, so that will give 3 months to finalize any plans.

 

Congrats on the dress!  I got mine last July!!  So once a month I go and "visit" it at my parents' house.  You can't have a wedding dress for that long without trying it on over and over again! (especially every time you get an accesory like your hair flower, jewelry, and shoes - which I have all of the above)

My save the dates are going to go out next week (although most people already know the information and I have been passing around our website) and I will probably send out the invites in July.

heeyyyyy!! November brides wooo! There are so many 11-11-11 brides ha ha I am getting married on Nov 2! Originally was Nov 5th but were having a legal ceremony in Mexico and they don't allow legal ceremonies on weekends  :P So yup my date was confirmed for Nov 2nd at the Gran Bahia Principe Akumal in the Riviera Maya in Mexico!! I am so stoked and just can't wait!!!!! We are also having a reception back home for about 160 people on Nov 12th! lets just hope the weather stays warm and sunny the whole time i'm in Mexico :) :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
