Haha...that's funny! Well, it's good that you have lots of freedom to choose. =) My fiance is pretty helpful, actually. He's especially interested in the budget.

I'm super excited because we finally picked a resort (Gran Caribe Real), and we're close to getting a photographer. Break time is coming!

Yes, it is exciting, however we are having doubts whether we should hold our wedding there or not because of all the things that are going on in Mexico right now...any thoughts??feedback.gif

I know it is worrying but I am sure it will all be fine. We will be in the confines of a resort/hotel and it will be your wedding so it will be perfect I am sure.

Where are you getting married?

I am a November 5, 2011 bride at Dreams Cancun.  I am not worried about having my wedding in the resort areas of Mexico.  There are several threads on here about brides worried about Mexico and there are a few themes in the responses:  the border violence is literally hundreds of miles (might even be >1000) away from Cancun/Riviera Maya.  It would be like saying you aren't going to visit Las Vegas (which is actually closer to the border) because there has been violence along the US/Mexico border.

Thanks for trying to comfort me :) We're getting married at Gran Caribe Real. How about you?

    • I and my partner are going to get married on August 12th. We met each other through a lesbian dating website. Both of us want that day to be a memorable day. We are in confused on which dress to wear for the wedding ceremony. Any suggestion on lesbian wedding dress? I prefer white, whereas my partner prefers of-white. Which one do you think will look good? Should we go for same dress or different one? Share your thoughts.
