Congratulations Joanne!! Love your dress! 

 

We leave tomorrow & I'm trying to repack! I've been reading everyone's posts but haven't had time or patience to comment since I'm using my phone as we have no Internet yet. It's driving me craZy to try to post replies using my phone. Unfortunately that also means no planning thread post either. :-( I will have to do it when I get back. 

 

Joanne I know you leave tomorrow too so have a good trip!! 

 

The rest of you ladies that travel between now & the 15th, safe travels! I'll be looking forward to checking in when I get back to see all the lovely pictures!!

Eun-sil, in the same boat as you! We are unpacking and repacking, weighing and moving again.  I just had to walk away before I scream, LOL!

Hitting the road at 4am so need an early night but stupidly decided on cooking a family dinner this evening so packing, chopping, packing, sauteeing ..... dumb dumb!

 

Good luck everyone, this will probably be my last post for a while. Thinking of you all and sending positive happy messages your way!

I know this is too late for most of you, but space saver have saved my packing life. I got two of the sweater bags from wal-mart, vacuumed the air out and it made such a difference in my suitcase. I have to carry my freeze-dried rose petals down in a box that takes up alot of space. It won't matter if I can't vacuum the air out for the way home because I won't have the box of petals.

Great pictures meBonidie2be!!!!  Your FI / Hubby will go nuts!  Every time I see other people's BD pics it makes me want to re-do mine and make the poses sexier :-/  Hopefully my fiancee still likes my book, even though it's more pretty... not sexy.  We're planning on exchanging gifts the night before leave.. so this upcoming Monday!

 

We're doing our legal ceremony this Saturday :-)  Things are in good shape, I'm finalizing the play list and loading it to our ipod and back-up CDs today (while at work... oops).

 

We really just need to start packing and do smaller stuff and we'll be ready!

 

In one week we'll be landing in PV!!!!

Sounds like me right now...I am working on my playlists at work right now too.  And I need to start packing. 

 

Last night I threw 3 pairs of shoes into my open suitcase.  That counts right??  :P

 

We bought these huge duffle bags that all the OOT bag stuff is going in and I threw it all in there last night.  I think its more than 50 lbs so some things will need to be moved around but they are awesome.  They actually fit a body HAHA (yup I climbed inside one and took a pic...it was hilarious).  And then once we give all the stuff out we can fold them up and bring them home in the suit case. 

 

I think the few things I am concerned about are the 12 vases for the centerpieces, our toasting flutes and our sand ceremony vases and holder.  Its all so precious.  I am going to try to pack them all on our carry-ons.  I just hope TSA doesn't give me crap for bringing so much glass with me. 

 

I have 2 packing lists and one huge "To Do" list that is almost completely checked off.  I still feel like I am going to forget to pack or do something very important.  Ugh I hate that feeling.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
