Airfare is tricky!

Recommended Posts

I have flown on spirit many times to florida. Allways had a great and easy flight. Looking foward to flying them again to jamaica. 313.00 r/t is a great deal I think. It might be worth it to drive from allentown to AC and stay over night at a casino and catch your flight in the AM. We leave AC by 7am and arrive in montego bay at noon. Allentown is not to far from AC is it?

It's about 2 hours or so. Allentown is almost (or maybe it is considered) to the mountains. We'll see. I told my FI that I wanted to upgrade wherever possible, to make the trips easy. Even driving to Philly is about an hour, so then we'd have to drive to AC from Philly. I am even looking into perhaps flying out of Allentown airport, but those flights are so limited...

Good point!

I always use Orbitz to look up flights...then usually end up going over to American Airlines and booking the same flight for a few bucks cheaper. cheesy.gif

I've been keeping my eye on Jamaica flights from Raleigh, NC...and we finally booked our flights less than a month before we leave!! Yikes! Thankfully the prices have remained pretty steady over the last couple of months.

Nadine.

Interesting site, Morgan. I just opened it up to check out when I have a few minutes sometime today. Unfortunately for my work, I have been spending TOO Much time on here daily! I am going to make an effort to only come on at lunch and in the morning. Yeah, we'll see how well that works.smile105.gif

Exactly! Always book straight from the airline once you find the best fare.

I use Airline tickets, Discount Airfare, Helping you find Cheap Flights At FareCompare. It also shows the yearly trends and you can sign up to be notified when fares to Jamaica (or any destination of your choice) drop.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
