The night before.....???

Recommended Posts

We are not sleeping in the same room the night before the wedding. Although we are having a DW which is not the "traditional" choice, there are some things we just like the tradition of. Is it bad luck? Probably not. But I will be that much more excited to see my honey when I walk down the aisle, and I think it will build the anticipation. I have not yet talked to the resort re: who will sleep where. I guess I need to get on that!

We are not staying in the same room the night before either. I thought my fiance would want to but he said nope - he doesn't want to see me until I am walking down the aisle. So he will be staying with one of his best men and I will be having one of my good girlfriends staying with me. Then in the morning he will be off at another resort on the property until a certain time, so I can hang out by the pool for awhile. (wedding isnt until 430)

Even though my parents are a bit scandalized, we will be sleeping in the same room the night before the wedding. We live together and will be legally married before our DW.

On the wedding day we are having breakfast in bed, and my H2B will be checking into his "groom's suite" at 10AM so I can get ready for the wedding, which starts at 3PM.

We liked the idea of the groom's suite because it leaves our room available for my bridesmaids and I to get ready, and we won't see each other for most of the day before the wedding. I think my H2B is looking forward to hanging out with his guys in his own space before the wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
