The night before.....???

Recommended Posts

Haven't decided yet. Nor have we talked about it. I like the idea of spending the night before with my friends, but we also live together so it would be weird not sleeping with him beside me. I'll have to think about this one...

I talked with my FI about this one, and he said not sleeping together the night before is balongna- I wouldn't mind going about it either way, but I think were going to end up staying in the same room. The resort does offer one free room for a member of the wedding the night before though---

We're not going to be staying together, I'll stay at the hotel, and he'll stay at his Parents place.... my sister will come up to my room and have girly night! :-)

Another point I might add, is that I want to get the best, most restful sleep I can possibly get, before my wedding. A slumber party with the girls, (although it sounds fun!) is probably not going to meet the best sleep criteria. I've been living with my fiance for over 5 years, and next to him is where I sleep best, so that is another reason why we won't separate. I don't want to be yawning at 9pm at my reception! or have bags under my eyes, lol!

I live with my fiance but we are not going to sleep together the night before the wedding...We actually plan on not sleeping together two nights before!! I'm having an all girls night with my MOH and sister and sister in laws! I'm so excited about this because I get to have girls night mixed with a wedding and then a whole week of time alone with just me and my new husband. I think whatever is comfortable for the couple is what should be done!

Plus I know the anticipation of seeing me will kill him if we dont' see each other until we get married!! Which will make me sooo happy lol! I'm all about the grand entrance!

It's not 100% decided but I am pretty sure we won't be sleeping together the night before.

Since we will be in Mexico still deciding who will swap with us (ie maybe Fiance and my son can sleep with his brother, and his wife can come sleep with me and my daughter)...  or maybe a single friend can have us join her.

I like the idea of not seeing eachother until the ceremony!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
