Frustrated Dreams Los Cabo Bride...

I found that in the beginning it was frustrating also. Search around this forum, it will help you a ton. Tammy is a huge help as she has gotten married there and so are Erika, Ana, Timberly and so many other girls on this forum. They have been lifesavers for me in answering all of my questions!

Just so you know, at first it took about a week to get a response on every email I sent. It may be frustrating but they WILL make sure you get everything figured out in time for your big day. As you get closer they work more closely with you. Ask for the information package that they have that outlines the menu options, event options, decoration options, etc. This will help you a ton. She emailed it right over to me. Also if you go under the cabo thread Tammy has posted lots of very helpful information about Dreams to get you started in some of the "stickys". Good luck! I hope you get everything figured out!!

Sometimes the WCs can be a bit slow in responding because they have alot to deal with on a daily basis. I've been to Dreams twice now, once for my own wedding and another time for my friend, and I can tell you that the WCs are CONSTANTLY running around dealing with setups, phonecalls, vendors, questions, etc... They literally have a wedding almost every day of the week, sometimes 2 a day, so they are busy, and EVERY bride wants 100% of their attention. Just be patient and if you absolutely need to ask something and get an answer to on something urgent, then pick up the phone and call them...its the easiest, fastest and clearest way to communicate with the WCs. This forum is great, Tammy (host of this forum) is an expert on Dreams weddings and she has alot of contacts there so I encourage you to contact her.

Well said Ana, the thing is the Dreams Los Cabos Wedding Coordinators are **THE BEST*** at what they do, and that is making sure every detail of your wedding day/welcome dinner/rehersal dinner etc is perfect!!!

And they have done that for all of us! Just amazing.

They are literally running all over the resort all day long from 7 am until 9 -10 pm at night and still somehow manage to return a high volume of emails. it still baffles me how they juggle it all.

A male perspective: Lyndsey and i (travis) have decided on the dreams resort in cabo to get away from a 500 person guest list. We have set a date of june 17, 2011. We are flying into the resort july 15, 2010 (next week) to make sure its what we want. Lyndsey will be taking pictures and maybe even some video so we can coordinate what we want with the coordinator from baton rouge, louisiana.

We are going to use karla casillas as the coordinator

and she is meeting us at the resort july 15th and 16th

visit her website A Baja Romance Wedding... By Karla Casillas © 2009-Los Cabos Wedding planner-Cabo San Lucas Wedding Planner-Destination Wedding Planner-wedding coordinator

so far she has been great.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
