How much was it to upgrade to the color tableclothes and napkins? I've thought about buying and bringing my own, but just not sure it's worth the hassle!

thanks,

Sarah

The table clothes I picked out once I got there. Instead of white, you can upgrade to almost any color. She had an entire book. So I picked out the color of the tablecloths and the napkins.

$27.75 for table clothes (with tax). $4.44 for the napkins (with tax). So total I paid like $436 dollars for 48 people and 8 tables.

For me, it was worth it! We already had a lot of suitcases full of welcome bag items and other wedding stuff. Plus, they did everything for me to make it look great!

I booked myself and my family  for hotel and flights and I they said I could get a van that fit 10 ppl for $195 (there and back)..so if you get a bunch of ppl together its pretty cheap. I also noticed if you just booked packages for 2 ppl..you could get transportation for $45 per person (there and back)

We just received confirmation that we are getting married at the NOW Jade on Feb. 22! We are getting married at 5 on the Pergola, having our cocktail hour at the Blue Beach Bar from 6 to 7 and then our reception on the Festival Terrace from 7 to 10. I am wondering if anyone has or knows where I can find pictures of the Festival Terrace decorated for a reception? I have read through this whole forum and have yet to find one.

FI and I booked the Divine package, and when Ana sent me the planning form, one of the questions was about what signature drinks we wanted - you can have two, one for cocktail hour and one for the reception. We just chose a wine for the reception but want to do something in our color (blue) for cocktail hour. I'm thinking about a white wine sangria tinted with a bit of blue curaco.

We are having signature drinks, but I've not yet decided what they will be. I haven't gotten my planning form from Ana yet....when is your wedding? I'm not until November. We're not having a traditional reception....just the cocktail hour (2 hours actually) and then a plated dinner. Dancing at the dance club after, so we'll have our two signature cocktails at the cocktail hour. I'm planning on making cute menus for the cocktails and framing them. Ordered our personalized cocktail napkins yesterday.....the knot is having a big sale through today on them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
