Never heard of Ana before. She must be new and helping Pilar. What date are you looking for? If you have already told them the date you want they will probably not give it to anyone else without speaking with you first so I wouldn't stress too much. If you start to get anxious and you are on facebook. Diana the sales coordinator is really good at passing along messages and then you get a reply right away.

That's the thing, I'm not sure exactly what date I/we want yet. Only that it will be in the end of April or beginning of May and those months are filling up fast, Ana gave me the days they had left and there were only a handful. I wrote back to ask for what times were available those dates since I know 4-6pm are popular and if they only have early times available I would choose one of the other available dates (if that makes sense). Like I said, I'm not stressing out yet, spending time trying to find when the flights from Europe will be the cheapest and stuff before I can make a decision anyway.
I have been on their facebook page and seen the wedding discussion on there which is great! Do you know if there is a difference in room prices in the end of April in comparison to May?

I am not sure of the differences in prices between april and may. I had two possible dates i could go with and i choose the week of april 23rd to april 30th which was reasonable for all inclusive leaving from toronto canada. i have family near tampa florida who i need to get down there also and we haven't booked them yet and they can't be part of my group rate from here so if you do pick to come the same week, let me know the pricing you get for a group rate and maybe i can add two more to those rates and help maybe get you a free trip. My grandmother is 80 years old so she is only coming from either April 23rd to April 27th or from April 24th to April 28th, a four day stay rather than a 7day stay. i know here in canada with air transat that every 21st person is free except for taxes. Would be fun to plan a wedding around the same time with another bride! Either date you pick i wish you the best! I know when I chose my date April 26th at 4pm the 27th was still available. the week i chose is also easter monday week so people would only need to book off 4days of work instead of 5. Just a thought! What colors are you going with?

Well, initially I was looking at Easter weekend for the reason that people already have days off from work. My FI was hesitant because people might already have plans for Easter. My family and friends are coming from Sweden and his mostly from Texas, so I checked flights from Sweden first since they are more expensive and it seems as they are more expensive starting from May 1-5. I will check around some more but if that is the case we will definitely be there the same time. It would be really great to have another bride to plan with around the same time!
I'm not sure if we're doing group rates or not yet. I have been in touch with two different TAs and one of them seem to prefer that people book their own flights. I think most of my guests would like to do that too, but we'll see. I will keep you in the loop.
I haven't chosen colors either haha! I'm the worst bride... but in Sweden we don't really have colors and all that. I asked my FI today what colors he wanted and of course he doesn't really care haha! I'm thinking about blue, light green/sage....dark purple...only thing I know for sure is that it won't be pink

Has anyone found out what the rates are for kids under 12? ON some some sites it says they are free from summer through fall. but others are quiet on the subject. Can anyone help?

I'm not a 100% on the chair covers. Pilar let me know the white chairs in are $9 to rent plus tax, the brown chairs are $7 per chair. I'm hoping they will work a deal out if you have paid for a wedding package that includes chair covers.
FYI- My travel agent told me this week that Ana Maria Cruz is the wedding coordinator for NOW Jade. Pilar has been responding to my emails this week.

Yeah, I think Ana and Pilar are both working as WCs at Now Jade and Sandra is over at Now Sapphire.
I think I have chose our wedding colors or not just me...FI actually wanted a say in this too, so they are aqua, margarita/sage and latte/beige.
Still undecided about the date but we are 95% sure we will go for an Easter wedding. I hope that will lead to more people coming instead of less, I can't imagine that people's Easter traditions/plans are that set in stone.

LisaDias-Can you send me the information you have on Now Jade? Im in the early stages of planning and after reading all these great reviews Im thinking of having mine there next year. Also, do they do a lot of weddings there a day?
Also, is working with an onsite wedding coordinator enough? It sounds like they take a while to reply.Does it help to work with a travel agency/wedding specialist?

Lisa- Have you heard anything back yet? I'm curious if us brides are being told different things. I was told only one hour of video for the photography and others have gotten two. I'm not sure what else I can do to get the two. I'm even bringing my own flowers!!!
