Well we're bringing our own officiant so i definitely wanted to swap that...and then i'd like to swap things like the champagne toast and centerpiece thats included for either flowers for my bms, or extra people for the reception.  But she said no trading.  I asked her this back in June.  I am going to keep asking though.

I've emailed them about certain flowers and colors since I didn't see them offered on the website.  They said that they could do them.  They also have a live chat I think.  They have really good reviews on the site, too!

Well Pilar finally got back to me...to tell me that Ana is now my WC.

She did say we could do the champagne toast for no extra cost for the extra people, and she asked to see a picture of what I mean when I say I want to string white lights in the bamboo.

She did not update my budget with my changes to photograpy and to take out the cost of the centerpieces though so I guess I have to start over with Ana.

Oh and she did confirm that only one centerpiece is included in the divine package.

Tracy, you probably mentioned this before, but are you using the resort's DJ?  I'm most curious about how the DJ handles the reception...introducing the wedding party, and the doing the different dances, cutting the cake, etc.  I think in the one review out there for Now Jade, the bride said the DJ didn't do any of those announcements.

I was also wondering about the DJ aswell and what they offer other than playing music cause i can do that with an ipod dock?

Erin, I was told that the tables we are provided are the large round ones for 8people and one rectangular one for the head table unless your reception is at the festival terrace where they will only use the long rectangular tables as there is not much space to serve.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
