Hi Ladies

Not sure what everyone else has been told about the centerpieces but Pilar is now confirming that only one centerpieces comes with the divine package. I am still fighting this one as in the Wedding book I received it said Floral centerpiece arrangments per table which to me for a package of 25 people should include at least 3. Sandra told me previously it was a misprint and has been corrected but I feel they should honor what they wrote so I am going to speak with Management about this. Some people make decisions on the resort based on what is in the packages and i don't think it's fair to be able to just take that away. Anyway, if anyone else has any luck in this area with Pilar or Ana as Sandra is no longer there, please let me know. I think if we are stick together they will have to honor what they wrote and that is a savings of at least 200$ and we all know every penny counts!!! :)

I havent heard back from Pilar yet, but I'll fight her on the centerpiece issue too.

Lisa and Primavera...what were you planning for the other tables?  Maybe since we'll all be down around the same time we can figure out a way to share costs on centerpieces?  What colors were you girls planning?  I was thinking of maybe just doing floating candle centerpieces and then putting flower petals or colored beads around them.

I know Lisa has some great ideas for centerpieces, but I have not started thinking about them yet. I will do something very simple I know that. My colors are light blue/aqua, light green/margarita and beige/latte.

What are your colors? When will you be there? In time for my wedding? ;)

Hi Primavera and Sking24

I am so sad that I will be getting there april 23rd and leaving april 30th(wedding april 26th) just before you guys get there! I haven't found any brides there the week I am yet! My colors are similar to Primaveras. i am using lime green, aqua/turquoise blue and white. I am still not sure about the centerpieces. I keep going between different ideas. i just got some blue starfish plates and might use those with candles and shells with some sand and tealights but I also have small vases with crystals and tealights with a starfish table number holder but still working on them! Don't want them too busy but don't like too plain either so i am trying to find a happy medium! I have finally decided on my dress though so that's one big thing down. I am bringing my own chair bows(turquoise) they charge a 1$ to iron them but it's better than the 5dollars to rent them when I found a website that sells them for 69cents a piece. I think i will need about 40 of them. I am also going to bring some fabric to add to the pergola white the white fabric that is already part of the package. turquoise and lime green. i am using maracas as my kissing favor. I am bringing fans, banners, posters and starfish wine stoppers.Oh boy and so many other things that i don't know how the heck i am going to get this stuff down there lol How many people are you guys expecting to come?

How is Ana? Before you ask her I would check the wedding book they sent you cause they apparently corrected the misprint so i don't know which brides got the same one as me or not. But Sandra and Pilar are sticking to the one but I am not happy with that answer becasue even though i am going to bring some centerpiece stuff, I would use flower ones for other things.

Oh, Lisa I wish I would be there when you will be there, but the prices were just too expensive for my guest, since they are already traveling so far and paying a lot for their plane tickets. We will get there on April 30 though, we might see each other at the airport ;)

I think I have two different wedding books, will check later but I believe I got the old one from my TA and the new on from Ana. I'll let you all know after I have compared them.

I love your Vistaprint stuff!! I want to order our STDs and get some of the other stuff as well. I think we might move before the wedding though, so not sure what to do about the address labels....well, I guess we're not moving until Jan so it might work, hopefully people have booked by then. Since we haven't sent out our STDs or invites yet I don't have a clue how many people will actually come. I know we'll be at least 15 people but hopefully closer to 30-40 when the invites go out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
