Thanks a million Caroline, appreciate that!

Which kinda stinks b/c airport transfers are included with our trip! I understand it's a "private" transfer but I'm flying in with some family and  want to ride to the resort with them. They should change that option in the package to something else as it's not really needed (in my opinion). Ugh, I wish they'd let you swap. It seems like they are inconsistent with swapping so it's def worth a shot, but I was denied! lol :)

oh, that IS a bummer!  We don't really want a private transfer either, all 42 of us are flying together, and that's part of the fun!

Does anyone know what decor is included in the Bamboo Room?
I know I can bring in the centerpiece from the ceremony as well as the medallions they use on the pergola (2).  All white linens I know, but what about candles in glass holders or anything? I have seen pics with flower petals on the cake table, do they do that there?   If I bring shells, will they scatter them on the tables for me?   I plan on bringing some table runners to add some color, and I'm not sure what else I need to bring.  Also- do any past brides have a floor plan/layout for the Bamboo Room they'd be willing to share?  It's so hard to plan and visualize without seeing it first!

Whatever you bring with you they will set up however you tell them to. I brought table runners with me, too. I would assume it would be an extra charge if you wanted candles on the table but I'm not sure how much. I brought a wooden letter for everyone to sign instead of a guest book and they put candles on that table (I didn't even request that!) I think that when they are setting everything up, if something looks like it needs a little more they will add it at no additional cost. Hope that helps!

From what I've heard they do a good job at keep the beach pristine, but for myself I opted for the Gazebo for my ceremony.  I'm not much of a beach girl.  Happy planning! And lets def. keep in touch.

This place is great for that!  We all fly in on the 22nd as well.  Since this post I was able to visit the resort and I changed everything around lol.  We are having the ceremony at the Pergola and the reception at CinCin.  Pilar and Deisy were amazing, and I promise, they are so on top of everything.  Look forward to meeting you!

I am hoping someone can share their experience on the beach location (mainly concerned with gawkers and what the divine package inclusions are) and the terrace for the reception (we have 45 ppl, worried about dance space ). We are only doing the major dances there (classic disco party to follow). Anything you can tell me would be fab.

Have any past brides taken advantage of the transportation included in the Divine Package?  Do you get picked up fairly close to the time you arrive, or do you have to wait a long time for the vehicle to arrive?  Do you have to wait for other couples to arrive before the car leaves?

Any information would be helpful.

Getting married at the Now Sapphire but I believe the Now Jade also has the transportation included in the package.

Thanks,

Dina

Hey all, does anyone know if the buffet is an option for a smaller group? We're intending on 25 or less guests.. but we have to figure out a way to work out another menu since my fiance is allergic to shellfish. :( Does anyone have any ideas?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
