For those that have or are having a legal ceremony...how do they do the blood work? Do they send someone to your room or do you have to go somewhere? We are just doing a symbolic ceremony and doing the legal one here but our families do not know that so we want to be prepared as possible and make it look the real thing. Thank you! Less than 2 months to go!!!! :)

Hi!

I sent Pilar a picture of a couple of options i wanted and she responded with a quote. Im paying 50 dollars extra and am getting different color purple roses, white roses and the purple/white Calla Lilys. I would go that route - just send her a picture of what you want and she will give you a quote from the Florist!

I'm getting married in two weeks and I am starting to feel like nothing is organized. I haven't heard back from Ana after I sent her my wedding planning form, I heard on this blog she quit but I have heard nothing. Is this normal to not have anything organized at this point? Also I am wondering if anyone knows if things such as menu's, seating charts and wedding program's are made for you when you get there or if you have to have them made at home and bring them with you. Seeing that I have nothing confirmed I can't really go ahead and make them right now. Any insight or info would be great!!  Thanks!

I would try emailing Pilar to make sure she is handling your wedding. I wouldn't be worried though...I have heard that most people are amazed at how organized Pilar is and that she will know everything. Ana is no longer there so you definitely won't be hearing from her. I have heard that they will have little menu cards at each persons seat but I am not sure if this happens all of the time. The email that I reach Pilar at is weddings.nojrc@nowresorts.com

Good luck and I can't wait to hear all about your wedding!! :)

I haven't been too successful with finding these either.  I even emailed Pilar and she ended up sending me photos of the pool deck and terrace.  I've requested this information to be included at the webinar this weekend, so hopefully they will have some photos after that...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
