Thanks Caroline! I have asked Ana but yet no reply. I won't worry about it, if the weather is any like TX or FL it can change in a day anyway.

I really appreciate you letting me know how long "the walk" takes, we don't have a bridal party so I might just wait before I turn the corner and have my brother edit the song a little.

I will def. look into adding the videographer and maybe some more pics. I agree with you and Lisa, those are the memories that you will keep forever and we have so much family that couldn't make it that would love to see pics & video.

Lisa, how exciting!! I will see you when we get there (Wed. around 11.30 am)! By then you will be a married woman :)

Jessica, thanks! I will take a look at your pics now! Congrats by the way! :)

I'm not going to lie...I was pretty upset when I read that guests were getting sick at the resort.  That would be so awful if me, my FI, or any of the guests got sick.  I'd feel like it was completely my fault.  And I'm going for 2 weeks so I really dont want to be miserable for my wedding or honeymoon!!

Primavera, regarding the weather, it had rain showers and/or thunderstorms forecasted every day we were there, and we barely saw any clouds the whole time!  It's not rainy season either, so don't worry about the weather.. :)

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help, as I've gotten a lot of help from this forum.

Caroline

Hanna, Isn't it crazy how fast time flew by?  I leave in 10 days and you'll already be married by then!  Good luck with all the last minute stuff...Ive kind of been freaking out a little bit every day.

Yes, I have been there in October 2010 and it was incredible! Our friends had a wedding there and we absolutely fell in love with that place and their service. We decided to have a wedding there also in November 2011. Wedding coordinator is great and the stuff really makes you feel special. Food is out of the world, you wouldn't expect it from AllInclusive Resort. The only thing is masquitos, just consider "off spray" for you and your guests, but it's not that bad.I can probably post some pictures from their wedding. They used Fountain location for the ceremony (the best), too bad I can't use it(I don't want to copy their wedding, since we are staying at the same resort already)flower girlFountain3at night

Yes, it is!! That we moved to another state, I started a new job and all that did make it go by even faster though ;) I think I have almost everything now. Just trying to find a flower or two to put in my hair...oh and decide on what jewelry to wear.

Caroline,

Thanks for your very detailed review!  It helps calm me down to read about such great experiences.  Quick question for you, did you have to pay to have your welcome bags distributed?  Ana told me it would cost $2-3 per bag.

Also, are you able to send me your welcome brochure?  I can't download it due to lack of permission or something....

Thanks!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
