I am using the resort photgrapher but I have no idea what would be included in the package because I upgraded to get the full cd, and Ana told me I have to pay for 4 hours to get that.  So basically I'm paying an extra $1500 for the photographer.

Hey girls!! I just got back from the resort today and our wedding and stay was amazing!!!!! I will post a review a little later in the week but it was awesome! Everything worked out perfectly! We had a blast and our guests had a blast! To answer the photog question, he takes pictures starting in the room where you are getting ready, which is usually with the bridesmaids. Then, he moves onto the ceremony and the pictures after the ceremony takes about 30 minutes. He takes great pictures! Also, if you want more pictures than what you got in your package, you can give him more money and he will give you a disk of the pictures that you want. Hope this helps and my review will come a little later! It was amazing though!!!

There is a private transfer included, they pick you and your FI up at the airport and bring you back to the airport at the end, you just need to provide them with your flight number and arrival time. We are having our romantic dinner on the beach the last night we are there and the room upgrade is based on availability depending on what room category you booked, it's one level up so if you booked a tropical view you get ocean view on the regular side and if you booked ocean view preferred side then you would get ocean front. We have booked in our couples massage for the day after the wedding. hope that helps! Pilar asked me to send her an itinerary about two weeks before to have it all organized. With the dinner on the beach you have to select from a set menu in advance.

Hi all,

I was married at Now Jade last Thursday.  The resort is fantastic, and the wedding was perfect.  If you want to see pictures or have any questions, feel free to contact me directly. srochon66@hotmail.com

Also, if you are looking for a photographer for whichever resort you choose, mine was AMAZING, and a very reasonable price!!  His name is Derek Campbell of "Photos in Cancun".  I have over 200 photos of the resort and our big day (thanks to him) that I could show you if you like.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
