Okay, so I've been struggling with this for a while, and figured I might as well ask you ladies! Did you look at both the Sapphire and the Jade? If so, what made you choose one over the other? I like the Sapphire's Mexican-look and all, but I'm surprised by the differences in prices between the resorts (e.g. ceremony music at Jade being about half the price of ceremony music at Sapphire; but tiki torches at Jade are 3 times the price as they are at Sapphire.. things like that).

I think both resorts would be fantastic, but I'm the kind of person who wants to know all the info before making decisions, and right now I'm stuck.. Help!

I looked at both but briefly. I loved the look of the Jade and that's what made me decide. I'm glad I made that choice. I liked the modern look and after my FMIL just came back and said how nice it was and updated I'm reassured.

I haven't gotten that far yet...but i was thinking of not doing suits. my wedding is beginning of July and thought it may be too hot for suits! Not sure what we will do but was thinking of some sort of linen pants and button up shirt

this may have already been discussed on this thread- is so I apologize....but are you guys doing OOT bags? I'm thinking of not to save $$ and luggage space. Although i'm toying with the idea of doing some sort of travel drinking mug

As far as suits we are just doing linen pants, which we found at Macy's and linen type white button down shirt. My FI is a hot box and so he will die in a suit!!

We are not doing suits. He will probably wear linen pants and a linen shirt.

I looked at both (as Christa also only briefly). I loved the look of Sapphire more, but I liked the rooms at Jade better. I assumed they would have the same prices, but I guess I should know better than assume anything when it comes to weddings at Now

I haven't decided yet. FI thinks it is unnecessary and that we should save the money, but I see all these great ideas on here for OOT bags with things I would like to get. I really want to do the travel mug thing, but I'm worried about how to get them down there. Maybe just koozies....
