I don't know if there is a post on here about this and I have been looking through the threads... but since many of you have already booked your hotels for your weddings I figured I'd ask.

Are there any resorts that offer a "free wedding" package? I know some places offer a free wedding if you book a certain amount of nights or something. We are just trying to find the best deal possible since we would like to save money when possible. We will only have a small number of guests staying with us, and we are either going to do a symbolic or ROV ceremony since we will take care of the legalities before we leave (I am not sure what the difference is between symbolic and ROV ceremonies are). I am just trying to see which places seem to offer the best deals. Do any current or previous brides have any suggestions? Thanks in advance! This site has been really helpful!

The Paradisus Palma Real and Paradisus Punta Cana offer a complimentary wedding package when you book either 5 nights in the reserve or 7 nights in royal service.

The package includes:

-a symbolic ceremony

-some decor

-bride's bouquet

-groom's boutonniere

-a dinner reservation for 6 guests

-wedding cake

-other special amenities for the bride and groom

All of the info is listed on their website. We're taking advantage of this package since we're staying in RS. The hotel is charging $15 for each extra chair for the ceremony. We added a cocktail hour and made our reception a private dinner. Overall, this saved us roughyl $1,600!!!!

I hope this helps. Good luck with your search!

Thanks! I will definitely check it out! I have been looking for awhile but we recently just decided on a date (well we have the month and year) and I just feel like there are so many places and packages, that it is hard to search through them all. With so many brides on here, I figured I'd give it a shot and ask for a little help! Thank you again!

Is this updated info? If so, that's too bad. sad.gif Last time I checked the website, it said you can use the free package as a credit towards a higher package, which is what had me leaning towards Dreams.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
