Hi! I am a newly engaged bride determined to have a Catholic destination wedding for 100-125 guests. It seems that most if not all of the accommodations for Catholic weddings do not go above 90 (Moon Palace). Does anyone have any suggestions for how to have such a large Catholic wedding ceremony in Punta Cana given that they have to take place in a resort gazebo. I really appreciate any tips! THX!

Hi and welcome; I wish I knew the answer to your question.... Have you considered booking the wedding itself at a nearby Catholic church? A TA who is familiar with DR might be helpful for you.

 

You also might try posting your question in the DR section--probably a lot of very knowledgeable people over there.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! There is a beautiful Catholic Church near the Punta Cana resorts. I'm not sure of the name but I've seen pics from my WC. Definitely contact a TA or search on the forum. I'm sure there has been at least one past bride who has been married at this church. Good luck and enjoy your planning!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
