Found my shoes BUT.....

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I happen to be looking at an email that I got from another wedding website (that I actually never go on and havenâ€t bothered to cancel the emails) and in the website was a pair of these wedding shoes and I instantly fell in love with them. They are Paris Hilton (didnâ€t even know she made shoes) Regal Peep-Toe Pumps in ivory. BUT my probably is that my feet range from a 8.5 to a 9.5 and I donâ€t want to have to return and exchange these shoes 3 different times to get the right size. I have called around all over to see if anyone sells these shoes (she makes the same shoes in grey and maroon and Macyâ€s sells them online) so I can try them on and see how they fit but no one carryâ€s them. We have some pretty huge malls around me and if they donâ€t carry them, then I probably wonâ€t find them).

So I contacted the website about sizing and I am waiting for an answer. Has anyone ordered anything off this site, Wedding Shoes - Dyeable Wedding Shoes - Designer Wedding Shoes - Kate Spade, Something Bleu, Stuart Weitzman Grazia - MGlassSlipper.com, or ordered/tried on any shoes from Paris Hilton?

Thanks!

Here are my shoes:

I've never tried anything like those (being 6'1, heels aren't really an option for me).. but I've found through friends and personal experience, that it's better to get a larger size than a smaller size. You can always add in those feet shield things that stop your skin from rubbing, to customize the size a bit. If the shoes are too small from the beginning, then you're stuck with REALLY uncomfortable shoes all night. Ouch!

Try taking a picture of the shoes with you into a few shoe stores and ask to try on similar styles. That platform, peep-toe, pump style is very popular right now so you shouldn't have a problem finding something that is pretty close. Try this in a few stores and hopefully you will get a fairly accurate idea of what size to order. Failing that, order all three sizes and then you only have to worry about paying return shipping fees once!

BTW, those are gorgeous (I'm a shoe slut!).

Ok I ordered the shoes!!!!

I went to Macy's and they a shoe that looked like it was shaped the same exact way of my shoe so I tried it on and the 9 was a little small and the 9.5 was big. So I ordered the 9.5. I'd rather have the shoes big and I have to stuff them than they be too small and kill my feet.

I HOPE they fit! Wish me luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
