Creating a playlist for a wedding is not that hard if you have the right ears or if you ask the right person. Lucky me I have a pair of very good ears. My friends always ask me for for an idea of good songs..not just for wedding but for any occasion. And What I usually give them is the names of the artist. I will  also make a list for you of criteria for you to look on.

              For soothing music:

              1. David Pomeranz

              2. Air Supply

              3. A1 (few)

              4. music of 1990's

For Dancing it will depends on the people..meaning the population of your visitors and who dominates them.

              1. you can choose sweet and jam

              2. a music that will bounce their hip will do.

Hope this list will help you.

Thank you for sharing! I'm researching music now and love the over the rainbow idea by IZ... perfect! I also didn't plan for the music while guests are seated... this helps so much! I'm a huge Jack Johnson, Donovan Frankenreiter fan, so I'll have to incorporate that; even though, I won't be able to hear it!

I like the song "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw.

Thanks for sharing this song. My friend will surely love these songs for her wedding day.
