We will be gone for 10 days.

I have all of my clothes packed in 1 giant suitcase, which is a MIRACLE.

I have a second suitcase with all of my OOT items and decorations.

I will be carrying on my gown.

FI has a garment bag with his suit and other hanging clothing

and a DUFFEL BAG!!!!! smile105.gif

It's sitting right next to me as I type and I'm trying not to have a breakdown - he told me he'd pack his own clothes (I did the toiletries)...but seriously, he doesn't have enough stuff. We will definitely argue if I say anything. I know his mom and dad already argued about his dad's clothing...

I don't want to fight with him the day we're leaving but I needed to get this off my chest!

lol a typical man! I'd say be happy about having so few things to carry!!...In all truth, he probably packed the exact right amount of things...most of the time he'll be hanging out all day in a bathing suit. And if he needs to re-wear an outfit, not the end of the world. Take it as a hidden blessing...less junk to lug along and less suitcases to possibly get lost! HAVE FUN and can't wait to hear how everything went!!!! :)

I agree with Mallory but I would ask if he packed certain things.... like if one of your resturants has a dress code? Did he bring his dress pants, etc. Maybe he isn't aware of that? Our resort is like that.

Otherwise, relax. As long as the wedding attire is there he could be naked the rest of the time right! lol.

Have a blast! Can't wait to hear about everything when you return!

Such a typical male. My FI says that I can use all four of the luggage pieces, since he can fit everything in his garment bag. I was in SHOCK when he said that... how do you pack for your wedding and honeymoon IN A GARMENT BAG? Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for being able to take 4 bags, at 50 lbs a piece... but I know he's going to regret it!

LOL at Stephanie and him being naked.

That's men for ya! Remember they have several levels of dirty for clothes too. Might just be m FI but I have SEEN him actually smell stuff to check how dirty it was!!! (not undies though LOL) They are a different breed and there is NO way I will be able to fit all of my outfits in one bag!!! Hell I have several outfits for each day when I travel most times.

Have fun, ENJOY YOUR DAY, and can't wait to hear all the details and see pics when you return as a Mrs :)

That's how guys are. They never need to pack nearly as much as we do. As long as he has his suit then he is fine. I probably won't have that many clothes myself. mostly bathing suits. lol

So don't stress out about his clothes. As long as you have your stuff. And you are about to be married soon!!!!!!!!!!!! yayyyy!!!

Congratulations and have a great wedding! Your post about your FI made me lol. FI always leaves it to me to pack all his clothes whenever we go away. Sometimes I am annoyed about it but at least I always know he will have what he needs.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
