What's your favorite creative healthy snack???

.:.Wasabi & Soy Sauce flavored Blue Diamond Almonds.:.

.:.s'mores (minus the chocolate) w/ low-fat graham crackers.:.

.:.Jolly Time Mallow Magic Popcorn.:.

.:.jalapenos sliced in half w/ easy cheese.:.

 

hmm...that's all I can think of for now! I know their not *creative* but I just thought I'd share :) Almost everything I eat is loaded w/ crushed red pepper or cayenne pepper, or this "Jalapeno Sizzling spice"...we also buy these little red & green peppers--called TexasPete Peppers--I believe they are tabasco peppers & we eat them with our veggies, mashed potatoes, or rice w/ dinner. Bottomline, we LOVE spicy food...or spicing food up!...the plus side is plan on drinking water w/ your food & you'll end up drinking LOADS of water (which is never a bad thing)!

 

I try my best to cut out the use of salt & stick to using pepper & other spices to add zest & flavor to our meals!

my favorite sweet tooth fix-

banana sliced lengthwise

spread each side with peanut butter and honey

put it back together and eat it like a sammich!

I don't think mine are that "creative" but they work for low-cal snacks :)

 

hummous & veggies

watermelon

Plain or greek yogurt with a spoonful of jam or honey and granola

FF pudding & rediwhip

Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk

PB on a spoon :) Okay and other things like rice cakes haha

I mix a few almonds with dried cranberries and a few yogurt raisins - it's got good protein, sweetness and is better for you than any other trail mix.

 

Fiber One bars are actually really filling and healthy too - a great afternoon, put it in your desk snack.

my favorite snacks since I was a kid is apple slices with cinnamon! I used to put sugar on them but obviously not anymore... haha! I tried using sugar substitutes but my trainer told me they are really bad for you (the mess up your metabolism!) so I stopped that! But cinnamon is all good, and it actually REVS your metabolism, for whatever reason!

    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
