Hello, my name is Charity, in 7 weeks Brian and I will be taking off to get married. Only problem is that we have not decided on where! We have planned to be gone May 22-29, now need to find the perfect place. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sounds like you want to go away and get married (you came to the right site for info!). You don't have a lot of time, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. You will need to narrow down your destination first (and rather quickly), and then choose your hotel. Hopefully your hotel choice will have a date open for you. Even with such short notice, you may not get your first choice, but you will find something. I would start with the location-specific forums for details on what each location has to offer. Good luck and welcome3.gif!

Welcome Charity! Best of luck planning your upcoming wedding. The great thing about DW's is that you can put together something with little time. Most resorts can take care of it all. Even though we set a date a year before, we won't get started with the REAL planning until a few weeks before anyway. You may just have to be a little flexible with your date.

WOW...good luck! There are so many resorts out there....I'm sure any one of them would be happy to take the ball and roll with it. I'm assuming it is just the two of you....if so maybe try an adults only resort like Excellence Playa Mujeres or ADventura Spa Palace....or any one of the adults only resorts out there. Don't let the speedy planning stress you out...no matter where you pick....they will do most of the planning with you once you arrive. Just come dress in hand and ready to have fun!

Good luck and congratulations!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
