June 2011 Brides!

Recommended Posts

We sent ours out about a month ago. I made some cute postcards on vistaprint that I'll send out once flights come out, just letting everyone know flights are available and reminding them of our TA contact info.

Also, I booked our welcome dinner on the Cabo Mar. When we were in Cabo I noticed it in the marina and thought there was no way it was in our price range. I wasn't getting much correspondence from the Sunrider though so I e-mailed my coordinator at Cabo del Sol to see if she could help out and she ended up getting me a rate that was lower than the Sunrider! Just thought I'd let you girls know in case you are interested in welcome cruises as well.

Yeah I was concerned about the same thing and wanted to have the travel info on my site but for now I am just going to have some sort of message that advises them to check back at a later time .

I was originally going to do magnet STD's but I had a change of heart recently and am now doing passport STD's which are def taking a bit more time but I think they go great with our E-Pic theme. How about you?

Donnie what a great idea sending out postcards to let them know flights are out! I may have to steal that idea :) Thanks for sharing.

Sending a card when the travel prices are released is a great idea! That way it kind of reminds people (like me.. who slaps the std on the side of the fridge and forgets about it) to check your website for the updated info.

I was torn between passports and postcard STD's but I am going with postcards.. I felt like I didnt have enough information to include in the passports and what I did have wasnt 100% confirmed and set. I didnt want to give anyone the wrong information by selecting things too soon. It became stressful trying to decide on everything at once so I gave up on it... I think I will send out a passport style booklet giving a summary of whats on our website with the final details when my guests book their trip. That way those who are not very computer savy can have all the info printed out for them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
