a few days ago, i asked what you girls did for engagement thank yous...i couldn't find a generic thank you card that i liked (except those which were like $4/card, which IMO is absurd) SO, i bought regular notecards, and a pop-up daisy-shaped hole punch...duh, easiest, cheapest card ever...

here's a copy of my DIY - sorry it's so dark, it was hard to capture the pop-up part w/ the flash, so had to shut it off...it's also standing in a plastic thing in the 2nd pic, so don't mind the sticker looking thingy on the bottom...

i also punched a hole in the envelope flap, and covered it w/ our return address stamp, which is see-thru.

i'll post my STD's in a sec....

thanks girls!!! hehe, i wish i could get a pic of it, but in the middle of the back are the lyrics to our song..under the lyrics it says "keith and lauren, 2007. do not feed or water after midnight. no valid in kentucky. call within the next five minutes and receive an additional wedding for the low low price of $19.95. supplies limited, act now. eat your vegetables." we're wondering how many people will actually notice the fine print :)

And I'd love to see a template of the pamphlet. I'm still struggling with mine...

the daisy thing-a-ma-jig came from michaels, in the aisle that has all of the funky scissors and hole punchers.

there is no REAL template...keith designed the whole thing himself, using adobe illustrator (i think that's the program)...but if you're planning on having vistaprint print them for you, i'm pretty sure there's a template on their website. i'll ask him if there's any other info he could give you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
