Mrs D... you said you got married @ one resort and then went to LeBlanc... we were thinking of doing that as well... do you think it ends up costing a ton more than booking the trip as a vacation package off of say bing.com or orbitz.com? I dont even know if its possible to do that with an internet travel engine... but may look into it. Thanks for any tips!

The visit was really good! We stayed at the Cancun Palace and had a great ocean view! Really like the Cancun Palace for a wedding, not so much for a regular vacation.  I like smaller hotels usually, but perfect atmosphere for a wedding.  We went to Sun Palace for dinner one night (stayed there last year) and loved it! The Sun Palace food was definately better than the Cancun Palace, probabaly bc of how much bigger the CP is and all of the kids.  We also went to Isla Mujeras Palace for the day, very nice/relaxing/small.  We went to the Beach Palace for the day.  I didn't like the BP as much as the CP. Just my opinion.  I am also having a large wedding, and the BP looked a little crowded to me, but would probably be good for a smaller wedding.  I have a lot of pics of CP and BP if anyone is interested let me know.

I am thinking of doing the same thing.  Wedding at one and then a honeymoon at another.  Do they consider it all one stay or did you have to pay extra to do this?

Hey Kristie (and other b2b's)!

I posted a bunch of my personal hotel photos and some of my wedding photos on the other Beach Palace thread here:

There was so little info and pics on BP so you might be interested!  We got married on the Sky Terrace and did a complimentary wedding.

I'm thinking of having our wedding next year at the Beach Palace.  There will only be about 20 of us so I think it will be a perfect place for us.

If you don't mind, please send me the pictures you took while you were there please.

Thanks!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
