I've received some quotes but honestly, the prices have been outrageous. (As in $350 for 10 globe lamps. I can literally buy 10 for $50 online). However, if money is no object, then these companies seem to do a great job, and it looks like they do big corporate events as well. It might be better to work through an independent wedding planner? Sometimes they are able to get better rates b/c of their relationships.
I am trying to find other quotes as well because they are crazy expensive! The seating arrangment for the rehersal is almost as much as the food and alchohol!!

I just used Alquimia Events for lounge furniture for our wedding 2 weeks ago & I LOVED my expereince with them. They got back to me so quickly & did everything they could to get me exactly what I wanted with very reasonable prices. :)

MOST AMAZING WEDDING DESIGN EVER.

We just used Concepto Rosa, which was started by Emma and Mayalen who used to be with Eventos Euforia. They made the whole wedding more beautiful than I could've ever imagined! I am a designer based in New York and pretty particular about what I want (though I am still nice about it :). They went above and beyond - they did multiple skype meetings with us, are total sweethearts, sent me photos of samples of the bouquets and centerpieces and they were very straightforward and flexible about pricing. We specifically asked for bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres to be inexpensive, while there were other things we were open to paying more for. The bouquets and boutonnieres were STUNNING yet well-priced. The little details in the bouquets were very unique. The whole look was very cohesive, striking and different from every other weddding we've seen.

 

There were two things they did that were just jaw-dropping:

1. They made these fantastic "flower nets" where it looks like the flowers are floating. We did a few huge nets and then we also had centerpieces that matched. Every guest noticed it and was blown over by the creativity and uniqueness.

2. They made our chuppah so dreamy and beautiful. It was lush and filled with branches and flowers. The lighting also enhanced it very well, especially because we had a night ceremony.

 

I cannot say enough great things about the job they did. They also did the tables and chairs for the party and helped us arrange a churro cart.

They have a whole "Wedding planning" department but we only used them for decoration and flowers because we did a lot of the planning ourselves.

However, I would entrust anything you need to them.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
