I just wanted to give you a heads up that Azul Beach won't do weddings for more than 50 people. I know because that was actually our first choice, but we are expecting 70-80 guests. I talked with their WC directly and she said they cannot accommodate more than 50 people for a ceremony OR a reception. However, if you are planning to do your wedding off-site, then it may be an option for you!

We ended up choosing Ceiba del Mar... I'm excited to hear how your site visit goes. Take lots of pictures! :)

I am going to take a TON of pics and promise to post them!

I'm very jealous of that:) We're hoping to do a site visit to Ceiba del Mar in the fall.
Azul Beach can now do more than 50 guests. In fact, they are trying to move any current bride from the Blue Terrace with less than capacity for the venue. Catch 22 is that capacity is 80 ppl - so when we all booked we had to have less than 50 guests so none of us have even close to 80. Cheeky bastards!

Look out for my review in 6 weeks!!!!

Amy - Thank you for letting me know! This is sad news for me though, as we really wanted Azul Beach and didn't book it because we're expecting 70-80 Oh well, I'm happy with our choice and I'm sure it'll be great as well. I can't wait to see your review though! That is frustrating about them moving you, I would refuse based on the fact that their rules have changed!
