I guess I've been doing ok lately food-wise. Exercise hasn't been so great. I think I only worked out once since Thursday. I'm going to run in a bit though. I'd really like to see the scale go down this week after not moving last week!

Congrats on the weight loss everyone! I have to say I was definitely bad this weekend. 12 hours of driving in two days plus eating our and funeral food = bad weekend. Thankfully I only gained back a pound and I'm pretty confident i can lose that and hopefully another one by Friday's weigh in.

3 weeks til we leave for our wedding.... I'm exciting and freaking out at the same time!

Sorry I've been MIA lately guys. I got back from our mini vacation on Sunday, then yesterday I got hit with some allergies! I really hope I'm feeling better so I can work out tonight. I made it to the gym only 2 out of the 4 days of the vaca, so I was a little proud about that. As for the food, I just watched my portions- with the exception of a steak dinner we went out to. So we'll see what happens this coming week!

Speaking of this coming week- I will be MIA yet again! I have friends coming in from NY and San Diego on Thursday- Monday. Thankfully though we will be doing a TON of walking Sat- Monday up in San Fran. I'm excited to see them but my schedule is so shaken up lately!! Horrible for the workouts!

Looks like everyone is progressing, or at least if they've had a bad eating day, getting back on track. That's all we can do right! wink.gif

Way to go Natasha on the 10km -- you will rock it!! I wish I could do that -- I stick to stairs, I'm not a fan of running. But I've always wanted to do a marathon lol.

You girls are doing awesome!! I love checking in and seeing the progress you're all making! I hit a bump a few weeks ago because we've been working out hardcore since January, so by April I was done...and I still had 2 months to go! I was justifying everything. But I am back on track -- and it seems all of you ladies are also! Congrats!

Those of us who have Weddings coming up -- do you also find it funny that we're working so hard to lose weight, but most of us are going to an all inclusive!...I don't know about you, but I know my hard work will be out the window by the second day! lol

OMG. I totally know what you mean. I'm going to an all inclusive next week, and I know that I'm going to gain weight if not only from the sodium and alcohol intake!

Thankfully, one or two weeks of cheating won't make you gain back all of the weight you've lost (unless you've only lost 5 lbs) unless you manage to ingest an extra 20,00 Calories above what you burn. I'm going to try to hit up some exercise classes to counteract all my bad behavior.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
