You know what I've been doing for parties lately? Offering to bring a dish and then bringing crudites with hummus or a low fat dipping option. That way I'm being thoughtful AND if I'm feeling snacky I can position myself next to the veggies instead of next to the mini-quiches.

Good Morning Girls!!!!! today is going to be a great day! It is sunny outside and I'm totally ina great mod! lol

How's everyone else doinghuh.gif?

I'm have so many parties this year too! I'm a wedding coordinator (I have over 20 wedding this year!) but apart from that, one of my co-workers asked me to be her wedding planner outside from work, so starting september, I have her wedding (country theme! ceremony @ a barn, outside dinner/dance), a baby shower for my cousin (which I'm putting togeher!) and our wedding in december!

LeAnne I love your ideaaa on offering to bring a dish to the party! then you can always have something healthy to eat!

LeAnne, that's a great idea to bring something healthy. At my job, different departments have days of the week where do a potluck thing. I noticed that mine was starting to talk about it, and I'm such a debbie downer with food here, so I suggested a salad club. It's a hit! We do it every Wednesday (today, yay!) and everyone brings an ingredient. It's really yummy, and I can choose to not have the cheeses and fatty dressings.

Had a great workout last night- I really REALLY need to start drinking more water TODAY.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
