A vegan cleanse requires you cut out 5 things from your diet: animal products (meat and dairy), alcohol, gluten, sugar and caffeine. For 4 days I have had none of the above, but so far, so good. Just one heck of a headache on Sunday. It was like I was hungover! (Sympathy pains, maybe?) :) So now I stick to this for 26 more days. I'm eating plenty of good food, so it's kind of an eye-opener!

I've falling off the workout wagon, but at least I'm eating well. Hopefully I can start some good sweats going soon!

Total lost to date: 73.3!!

And our winner for this week is....

Mischaka!!! cheer2.gif

Congrats to Mischaka for having an awesome week and achieving the halfway mark to her goal! Although our total pounds lost was not as big this week, we did AMAZING because everyone sent in their e-mail/picture! We are sticking with this and that is half the battle. Good job! pinkie.gif

Wow -- you are more disciplined than I! I am on day 2 of a low carb diet... I'm trying to be really strict this time because I haven't been doing all that great. I don't think I could lose the caffeine though -- it's my beloved drug of choice. Good luck and let us know how you do!

I was up last friday and this weekend was a total drink fest for my bachelorette! I'm happy to say I'm back down a bit though and ready to get all OCD on what I'm doing and eating this week.

I leave for my wedding in exactly 12 days!!! YES 12! I'm excited and freaking out at the same time! My goal is to really push myself this week and lose another 5 pounds before we leave. I think I can do it... But on top of it all comes the stress of organizing everythign and getting ourselves ready too.

Wish me luck ladies!!
Yay, how exciting!!!!! In the end, you will look beautiful either way. I hope your dress still fits!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
