Thanks!!! I saw a pic like that on one of my many searches so I had to copy the pose. It took a while for my niece to get a good hold of her dress, she kept dropping it so I'm surprised it turned out so well....

quick question...again wink.gif....how did you and your bridal party stand in the gazebo. from one pic it looks like they were in the gazebo and you and hubby were kinda on the edge. i ask bc i remember reading another review and the bride said that they were moved inside the gazebo and then the guests couldn't see them!

also, did you write your ceremony or use theirs? at what point do you sign the "certificate"?

thank you!!!

That's funny I didn't even realize how far in the gazebo they were until just now. I didn't plan it that way I guess it just naturally made sense for them to stand under the gazebo. We were at the edge in front of them so people could see us, and the poles for the gazebo are so small I'm sure everyone could see the bridal party too. I guess if you have a bigger bridal party it would make sense to switch that up since they might not all fit under the gazebo.

We just used their ceremony vows since my goal was not to cry and if I wrote my own vows I knew I would. It was nice and the lady officiant was really sweet and easy to understand. It's funny that I don't remember when we signed the certificate, I'd say before our final vow and kiss....good reason to watch my video tonight so I can report back!!

yeah i really liked how they stood inside the gazebo and you and hubby were on the edge. we have 3 BMs and 3 GM so hopefully it will work out like that.

do you know if your lady officiants name is in your paperwork anywhere? this is what i'm most stressed about bc i've seen in other reviews that the officiants were extremely hard to understand and that's just something i'm not willing to gamble on!!

again thank you soooo much for all the info!!

I found the certificate, it's funny because they spelled Rob's last name incorrectly on it...oh well. Her name is Roxana Fernandez Macias, we could easily follow her and she was very sweet. I saw some of those other reviews too so was expecting the worst, we were pleased so if you get her I'm sure you will be too. Now I need to search her name to see if anyone included her in their review!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
