Contact the BBB ASAP! File a complaint and fight for your $$ back.. This definitely doesn't give you a dress for your wedding but these people need to pay you back for this. Im so sorry your going through this, i just can't believe how many shops do this to brides.. Please keep us posted!

Sorry to hear about this. That's insane that it happened but it happens all the time sad.gif If they are not out of business yet though, does that mean that they are not fulfilling shipments that are already ordered and paid for??!?!?!

I would focus on finding a dress for you right now with minimal alterations ASAP. You can deal with the legal stuff after the wedding and hopefully at least get your money back!!! It is a major pain, I totally get it girl sad.gif

Personally, I would go to a store where you can buy a dress off the rack. I bought mine at a small boutique and the owner gave it to me off the rack with a price reduction (I was fully expecting to have the dress ordered and wait for 3 months). That might be a good option for you since you want something in your hands right now.

Good luck!!!

Ughhh I feel so bad for you!!! This is ridiculous! I totally agree with MDLady...try to find a dress off the rack now. I see you're in NJ and so am I. I recommend the store I got my dress from Castle Couture on Rt 9. I think their address is in Englishtown, not too far from Woodbridge. If you go asap you might still have it altered in time. Good luck!!!

awful, just awful. as everyone else has already said, you should definitely take legal action to get your money back.

in the meantime, let this amazing forum help you find the dress of your dreams, quickly! you said you weren't opposed to off-the-rack, but you fell in love with this particular dress ... can you post a picture of it? the designer and style #? we can scour the internet for one! there is power in numbers. for all you know, a bdw bride may have a used one in just your size and be willing to sell. it's worth a shot! grouphug.gif best of luck to you.

There were some delays, well this is what they told me, and it was set to be in store by the 3rd week in March. Well the 3rd week comes, I speak with the store manager and she tells me she is going to call me to schedule my fitting for the following week. The next week comes and I hear nothing by Wed. afternoon ( I only waited this long because the store is only open Wed - Sun). I call from Wed - Sat and I get no response. I decide to search their name and I come across this forum about the place. Many brides talking about how they have gone out of business and are not providing refunds or producing dresses to brides. So I take a trip down to the store with my fiance and low and behold the once beautiful store is now empty with a big blow out clearance sale on the front and the store is completely empty!! They have a number for a lawyer ( I assume theirs) and that's it. I am so heart broken. Where in the hell do they get off doing this type of thing to people. I now have to try and find a dress off the rack! Which was what I planned to do in the beginning but I fell in love with this dress and had to have it. I cannot believe this. I am going to try to contact the manufacturer of the dress to see if they still have the dress or if there is anything they can do to help. I am soo pissed right now!!! voodoo.gif
So sorry to hear that you are going through this experience that really sucks. Is the store you brought your dress from called Enzo's? Reason I ask is because I was on Davids Bridal website last night and they are offering a 40% discount to any brides who purchased their dress from this location. I know the location is in Jersey also but not sure where.
Sending good vibes your way, hope you find a dress soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
