im sorry this happend but i'm not at all surprised. we fell in love with the pics too, but when we went for the site visit, it was horrible! we were there at the "right" time and the service still sucked!!

 

like everyone's said, everything happens for a reason and now you have a great resort that you'll really love!!!

I am not at all surprised. Just trying to get them to take the deposit was a mission!! After 2 months of trying to get a hold of Suzanna, my fiance and I decided it best if we just went with another resort that wouldnt turn down our business.

On the other hand, Moon Palace was our 1st choice! lol...good luck!!

It's weird I keep hearing a lot of negative stories about Gran Caribe... I was communicating with Julie (Michigan) and she was really quick to respond back to all my emails but it seems like the WC they have in Cancun are terrible. So did u decide having it at the Moon Palace?

I have to disagree....
I don't think all AI resorts treat you like you're just a number. We had a great experience at the Occidental Grand Xcaret, and I know they do a lot of weddings. I felt that the WC and staff there were very attentive and considerate of what we wanted. Our wedding was fabulous.

Having said that, I think we all appreciate when brides can share when they've had a not-so-good experience, so that everyone can be aware and possibly avoid similar disappointment.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
