ShanelleLoraine, Thank you SO much for all of your help! I'm going to look into all of those places! How long did your guests stay for on average? How long did you and your husband stay for? Had you guys visited Costa Rica before? Neither of us have ever been. I just saw the Zephyr palace online and fell in love!

No problem whatsoever, happy to help! Neither of us had ever been before we choose CR. So, we decided to take a weekend scouting trip about a year prior to our date.  We planned to stay at our top 2 choices for venues and visit about 3 others along the way. We stayed at Hotel Parador in Manuel Antonio which was absolutely gorgeous. The only negative about this hotel is that they did not have an air conditioned reception area. Beautiful nonetheless. We actually did not plan to stay at Villa Caletas but, as soon as we got there we knew it was 'the one'. From the drive up to every corner we turned when touring the grounds, it was more and more amazing. We canceled our reservation and stayed in the last room they had available. I'm normally not one to talk up a restaurant, place or hotel but this place really is romantic and magical. 

 

We arrived on a Tuesday, some guests arrived on Wednesday and most guests arrived on Thursday. The majority of everyone left late Sunday after brunch. We left on Monday and went to Rio Celeste. I do recommend the company that helped plan our honeymoon. They arranged everyones transport to and from the airport, tours, honeymoon hotels as well as our private transport for the honeymoon. The drivers were so friendly and knowledgable (told us about so much along the way). Unfortunately, I do not have the name of the company at this time... I will find it ;). Altogether we stayed about 2 weeks.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
